Darren Sammy’s Test credentials were destined to come under scrutiny in 2026, but as his side prepare for their two-Test showdown with Pakistan, he may well be right to extol the virtues of trusting the process.
The opening fixtures of the World Test Championship presented a baptism of fire for a Test side that hasn’t finished above 8th in the first three editions, and the results somewhat spoke for themselves.
