Still Chasing Hope: Chase and Warrican’s roles under threat

This first article of 2026 leans heavily on an article I wrote in July 2025, titled Chasing Hope, which was published on Caribbean Cricket News’ old Substack site. The article reported on the change in leadership in two of the three men’s international teams, with Chase replacing Kraigg Brathwaite as Test skipper and Shai Hope taking over from Rovman Powell at the helm of the T20 squad.
